INSPECTION OF ATTACHMENT OF WING CENTRE SECTION TO FRAME 6
Applicable to the Slingsby T53B, to later variants of YS53. This is a reissue of GFA/AD 169 (Slingsby T.I. 90) which this Airworthiness Directive cancels and replaces. A failure in fatigue of the brackets which hold the rear span member of the cetre section to fuselage frame 6 has been reported, resulting in the issue of T.I. 100/T53 issue by Slingsby Engineering Ltd.
