EXTENSION OF SERVICE LIFE TO 6000 HOURS
Following successful fatigue testing on a wing mainspar section, the manufacturer has negotiated approval with the German airworthiness authority for thee possible service life extension from 3000 hours to 6000 hours. This extension depends totally on the sailplane being able to pass a life extension from 3000 hours to 4000 hours, then 5000 to 6000 hours.
