Applicable to the Astir CS SN 1001-1536, Astir CS 77 SN 1601-1844, Astir CS Jeans SN 2001-2248, Club Astir II SN 5001-5061 (Suffix C), Standard Astir II SN 5001-5061 (Suffix S), G 102 Club Astir III SN 5501-5652 (Suffix C), G 102 Club Astir IIIb SN 5501-5652 (Suffix Cb) and G 102 Standard Astir III SN 5501-5652 (Suffix S). Fatigue testing has shown that the service life of the affected sailplanes may be increased to 12000 hours. Issue 3. Grob have reissued the service bulletin and removed the need to cut the inspection hole in the root rib (action 2) from sailplanes which have water ballast tanks. The inspection should be done through the water ballast drain. Grob Service Bulletin TM 306-30/2 which forms part of this AD.
