WELD CRACK INSPECTION ON LEFT WING ROOT FITTINGS
Applicable to the Slingsby T61 Falke. This directive derives from Slingsby Technical Instruction No. 61 as a result of the discovery of cracks in the welds of the left wing root fitting of a small number of T61 powered sailplanes. Additional inspection required at the 25 hourly inspections and subsequent remedy of any damage found.
