This Safety Notice is published to raise awareness of the means of minimizing the likelihood of carbon monoxide contamination, the hazards associated with carbon monoxide exposure and to provide guidance on the use of carbon monoxide detectors in general aviation aircraft. This AN combines the CAA Safety Notice with the AAIB-26476 accident investigation report involving a SF25E motor glider caused by carbon monoxide.
