HORIZONTAL STABILIZER, DAMAGE TO UPPER SIDE OF LEADING EDGE
Horizontal stabilizer damaged during landing accidents have revealed hollow areas between the the outer laminate and the inner reinforcement of early production Ventus-2c sailplane and Ventus-2cT and Ventus-2cM powered sailplanes. The LBA issued AD-2005-136 and Schempp-Hirth has issued Technical Note No. 349-29/853-34 & Appendix to TN 349-29/853-34 which form part of this AD.
