PROPELLER DAMAGE DUE TO OVERHEATING
One blade of a propeller fitted to a DG-800 B was found to have separation of the foam core of the blade caused by exposure to excessive heat. The LBA has issued AD D-2004-195 & DG-Flugzeugbau has issued Technical Note 873/29 applicable to all DG-800 B powered sailplanes fitted with the Solo engine.
