INCORRECT MOUNTING OF HORIZONTAL STABILISER
A user managed to assemble the Horizontal Stabilizer onto the fin without connecting the Elevator drive on a DG-1000S. To prevent recurrence of this condition a deflector has been incorporated into the design. The LBA has issued AD D-2004-300 and DG Flugzeugbau GmbH has issued Technical Note 413/3, which forms part of this AD. Install a deflector plate and exchange pages of the Flight and Maintenance Manuals in accordance with the instructions given in Technical Note 413/3.
