FUEL LEAKAGE FROM POWER PLANT PRIMER VALVE
On a DG-800 B, the brass part of the primer valve became detached from the assembly resulting in fuel leakage. This defect can also occur on a DG-500 M and DG-500 MB fitted with the same primer valve.The LBA issued AD D-2004-350. DG Flugzeugbau issued Technical Notes 873/31 & 843/23 dated 09 July 2004. (Note: both technical notes have the same content. The three number prefix denotes the German Type Certificate No.).
