A case has occurred of detachment of the rudder control cable due to cracking of the attachment fitting. Polish General Inspectorate of Civil Aviation (GICA) Airworthiness Directive No. SP-0086-2002-A and SZD Manditory Bulletin No. BA-047/2002 applicable to the Jantar SZD-42, SZD-42-1 and SZD-42-2 form part of this AD.
