EXTENSION OF SERVICE LIFE TO 12000 HOURS AND SUPPLEMENT TO MAINTENANCE MANUAL
Tests have shown that the service life of GFRP / CFRP sailplanes may be extended to 12,000 hours, subject to adherence to a multi-stage inspection program to be incorporated into the Maintenance Manual. This AD is issued and applicable to the Nimbus-3/24.5 sailplane. Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) Airworthiness Directive No. 2002-357 and Schempp-Hirth Technical Note No. 286-34 form part of this AD.
