DG-800B sailplanes equipped with SOLO 2626 or Mid-West AE-50T engines, the applicable serial numbers as listed in manufacturer’s Technical Note. As the electrical circuits of both the fuel and coolant pumps are protected by the same circuit breaker, both pumps will stop running if the breaker pops out. By installing a re-settable fuse and changing the wiring in the control unit, both pumps will continue running via the generator circuit if the breaker pops out. Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) Airworthiness Directive No. 2002-083 forms part of this AD. DG-Flugzeugbau Technical Notes Nos 873/26 and 873/27 may be obtained from the manufacturer, contact detail of which may be found on the LBA AD.
