INSPECTION OF FUSELAGE FRONT BRACKET CONSOLE
Cracks have been found in the brackets which wrap around the front steel carry-through tube in the fuselage. Every 100 flying hours or 12 calendar months, whichever comes first, each aircraft is to be inspected in accordance with the inspection procedure on page 2 of the above PZL Mandatory Bulletin. If any cracks longer than 3mm are found, the aircraft must be grounded. Further action will be in accordance with GFA AD 542. If no cracks are found, or if there are cracks which do not exceed 3 mm in length, the aircraft may be returned to service and operated in accordance with its C of A for the next 100 hours or 12 calendar months. PZL-Bielsko Mandatory Bulletin No. BE-048/SZD-50-3/2000 “Puchacz” and Polish General Inspectorate of Civil Aviation (GICA) Airworthiness Directive No. SP-0059-2000-A form part of this AD.
