EXHAUST PIPE MOVEMENT
A downwards movement of the exhaust pipes and the muffler caused by engine vibration is possible. As this displacement reduces the ventillation space between muffler and the inside of the lower engine cowling the lower engine cowling may be damaged. This directive calls for repositioning of the muffler and welding of the locking rivets according to the Service Bulletin on AMT-200 Super Ximango S/Ns 200.040, 200.045 to 200.070. Mandatory Service Bulletin of Aeromot No. A200-78-053 which herewith becomes part of this AD.
