SAFETY LOCKING OF L'HOTELLIER COUPLINGS BETWEEN THE INNER AND OUTER WING PANELS
On the Nimbus 3 series of gliders it is possible for the safety pin in the L'Hotellier couplings between the inner and outer wing panels to jam against the structure. It is therefore necessary to install a special safety pin in the connectors at the wing junction. Schempp-Hirth combined Technical Notes embodied form part of this AD.
