MODIFICATIONS FOR THE ISSUE OF AN AUSTRALIAN CERTIFICATE OF AIRWORTHINESS
During the First of type inspection of the ASW 24 the following modifications and inspections were found to be necessary for an Australian Certificate of Airworthiness to be issued. Reference can be made to The GFA MOSP and the first of type inspection report. The following actions must be completed: 1. Before first flight for gliders entering Australia after 31 January, 1992 and 2. Before renewal of a maintenance release for gliders entering Australia before 31 January, 1992.The Gadringer rotary lock harness must be modified by installing 2 screws as shown in figure 1 to prevent separate disconnection of the shoulder straps. The placard alterations 1.VNE must be placarded in the cockpit, and 2. A placard must be added next to the fin ballast reading MAXIMUM FIN BALLAST 6 KG.
