LOSS OF ATTACHMENT BETWEEN THE 4X WING ROOT RIB PINS AND THE ROOT RIBS (INSPECTION / RECTIFICATION). INSPECTION FOR WING ROOT RIB PIN WEAR. 

Applicable to all variants and serial numbers of the LS 1, LS 3 and LS 4 sailplane. In one case of an Australian LS 1 found to have cracking and loosening of the attaching material between the root rib and the 4x wing to fuselage pins. The problem is known in Europe, the manufacturer having produced a repair method which was considered at best to be a temporary fix.
