Applicable to the Standard Cirrus S/Nos 21, 23, 27, 30, 32 to 34, 36 to 52, 54 to 120. There have been cases of the outer race of the lower ball bearing on the elevator drive being broken resulting in free play in the elevator control circuit. Schempp-Hirth Technical Note No. 278-25 refers.
