INSPECTION POWER AND OIL HOSES / USE OF HELICOIL SPARK PLUG INSERTS
Applicable to Falke motor gliders fitted with Stark Stamo MS 1500 engines serial numbers MS 1500/1 or MS 1500/2. (1) Allowable in service period of power and oil hoses according to LN 9226 fire retarding must be replaced prematurely subject to in service hose conditions embodied in this directive. (2) Inspection during dismantling of Stark Stamo MS 1500 has established that in several engines spark plug thread sleeves or helicoil thread inserts were incorrectly installed. Note that only helicoil inserts with toothed ends are approved to be fitted. Manufacturers TN 3/3 refers.
