CORROSION IN RELEASE CABLE
Applicable to the LS 3, LS 3-a, LS 1-f and DG-100 sailplanes, all serial numbers. There is a strong possibility that water may enter the plastic tube of the tow release cable under the pilots seat and remain there for long periods. In one case reported rust caused the cable to break. Replace if required with stainless steel cable 2.4 mm diameter LN 9389.
