JAMMING OF AILERON CONTROLS
Applicable to the Pilatus B4-PC11 glider. Information has been received in respect to service bulletins 1002 and 1003 relating to possible trapping of the rudder control in the crotch strap attachment brackets where a crotch strap is not fitted and to possible jamming of the aileron controls if bolts are incorrectly fitted. The crotch strap attachment bracket is to be removed if the crotch strap is not used. The connecting bolts on the aileron differential bellcrank must be fitted from the rear (unconventional fitting method) to prevent jamming. To avoid interference arising from incorrect assembly, the bolt P/N 116.35.11.070 must be shortened.
