MODIFICATION FOR EXCESS RUDDER FREE PLAY
Applicable to the Slingsby T59 Kestrel, all marks. Slingsby Technical Instruction No. 67 issue 2 gives details of a modification to reduce wear on a rudder actuating bearing. Wear in the actuator bearing leads to free play in the rudder. The maximum rudder free play allowance is 10 mm.
