INSPECTION AND OVERHAUL REQUIREMENTS OF SLICK MAGNETOS

CANCELLED -  Refer CASA Website for Airworthiness Directives under the 'Equipment' heading, then 'Electrical Equipment Miscellaneous (including Magnetos)'. 

Applicable to all powered sailplanes fitted with Slick magnetos including but not limited to: Fournier RF5, Grob G109, Grob G109B, H-36 Dimona, IS 28 M2, IS 28 M2/80, SF 25C, Stemme S10. GFA is responsible for the maintenance of all powered sailplanes registered in Australia. Because of the vast experience in General Aviation with parts which are common between powered sailplanes and GA aircraft (such as magneto's) the most efficient way for GFA to ensure that these parts are safe to operate is to simply use the CASA Airworthiness Directives. Note! At the date of issue of this AD your magneto may have already been serviced in accordance with relevant CASA AD’s. Where a logbook certification exists to that effect this AD can be considered complied with and the work does not have to be repeated. Slick Service Bulletins may be obtained from the local Slick distributor.
