Applicable to all gliders and powered sailplanes fitted with oxygen systems. Many components used in glider oxygen systems are also used in general aviation oxygen systems and the CASA has from time to time issued airworthiness directives on some of this equipment. This AD forms the link between the CASA airworthiness directives and glider operators. Issue 4 corrected an error in the alignment of this AD with other GFA publications. It also removes the CASA AD’s as hard copy attachments in favour of website addresses where the latest revisions can be viewed & downloaded. Issue 5 update removed reference to airworthiness directive AD/GAS/2, AD/OXY/1, AD/OXY/2 & AD/OXY/4 due cancellation and updated the CASA links to applicable airworthiness directives listed below.
