IS-28B LIFE EXTENSION EASA STC 10054289 purchased from the Type Certificate Holder 

The life of an IS-28B2 may be extended past the calendar 35 year limit subject to the sailplane being within the service life limit and passing a health check which is repeated every two years. The owner must enter into a contract with the Type Certificate Holder to purchase Supplemental Type Certificate No. STC 1005489. Note that the service contract and STC is issued to a specific sailplane and lists the sailplane serial number. It is NOT generic. For further details, contact the GFA Chief Technical Officer.
