Applicable to the Janus, Janus B and Janus C. Fatigue testing has shown that the service life of the affected sailplanes can be extended to 12000 hours provided each sailplane can be shown to be airworthy according to an established inspection procedure. Schempp-Hirth Technical Note No.295-11 dated 6 March 1991 and Schempp-Hirth Technical Note No. 295-16 dated 15 March 1991.
