INSPECTION OF THE ELEVATOR ROOT RIB
Applicable to the Schleicher Ka 2, Ka 2b, Ka 6, Ka 6/0, Ka 6B, Ka 6BR, Ka 6CR, Ka 6BS, K7, K8, K8B, ASK 13, Schneider ES Ka 6. The first issue of this AD was issued in 1972 and required the inspecting of elevator root rib for glue failure. Recently there was another failure of this rib and so it is now necessary to inspect this part every 3 years. Schleicher Technical notes as follows:
