Applicable to all sailplanes and powered sailplanes operated under GFA regulations. The current GFA maintenance release was developed for safe and airworthy operations of sailplanes in common clubs in Australia. For professional operators or big clubs with their own record system, Part 3 of the maintenance release may not be necessary since the relevant data is recorded somewhere else and arising actions (inspections, engine overhauls etc.) are carried out appropriately.
