This includes lists of approved modifications and reported minor defects. 1.Mandatory Modifications: A number of minor modifications were required for the first of type VH-HNH, built by Les Squires in 1988. 1.1 Stiffening of Woodstock fuselage.  GFA Drawing 87/6 1.2 Locking of rudder hinges. [ Duster and Woodstock] 1.3 Modified tailwheel to prevent pickup. 1.4   Reinforcement of aileron pushrods. 1.5 Drain and vent holes. 1.6 Approved tow hook[s] installation. 2. Drawings covering items 1.3 through 2.4 are available from Les Squires or the GFA Secretariat. 3. Removeable Tailplane Modification.  This modification allows the tailplane to be derigged, so that the glider may be stored in a small enclosed trailer. It was designed for Ken Davies and was also fitted to -HNH and other gliders.  Drawing KD-1 is available from Gary Sunderland. 4. Push rod Aileron system. Terry Whitford and partner have devised a pushrod drive to replace cables in the aileron circuit.  This should decrease friction and improve feel. 5. Weight Control. Like all small sailplanes, the Woodstock has a weight problem. Some data from VH-HNH first of type weighing:-  The wings were close to specification, but the various modifications had increased the fuselage weight by 11 kg. Empty weight =117.5 kg. Max. pilot  =  87   kg. Min. pilot  =  73   kg.
