The BGA general principle is gliders, which because of their colour is inconspicuous, should be rendered more conspicuous by applying bright colours (orange or flame) preferably fluorescent. As coloured surfaces absorb more heat , this appreciably weakens the resin used in the construction of glass fibre gliders and it is strongly recommended that colouring in each case is limited to those area given in this notice.
