1. Improved attachment of the all flying tailplane. Schempp-Hirth Technical Note No. 286-7 describes possible improvements to the all flying tail attachment for Nimbus 2's serial numbers 86, 93, 96 and subsequent. The improvement are as follows: a. Simplification of tailplane mounting. b. Easy checking of tailplane attachment. c. Adjustable free play in the elevator circuit. 2. Conversion to Nimbus 2B. Schempp-Hirth Technical Note 286-11 describes the optional conversion of Nimbus 2's to Nimbus 2B's (tailplane and elevator). Note: This modification involves reissuing the Certificate of Registration and Certificate of Airworthiness. 3. Installation of a Nose Hook. Schempp-Hirth Technical Note 286-15 describes the optional installation of a nose hook in all Nimbus 2 variants. 4. Installation of a tail wheel (Nimbus 2C only). Schempp-Hirth Technical Note 286-23 describes the optional installation of a tail wheel on Nimbus 2C's.
