M5, M6 and M7 draw attention to the possibility of three specific defects which may occur or be present in the subject gliders. M5 relates to the possible jamming of the elevator in the down position. M6 relates to the possible excessive wear to the rudder cables due to contact with the flap gear rod. M7 relates to a poorly secured locking knob on the flap drive crank.
